Netiquette

Eigentlich beschreibt „Cyberethics education“ die Thematik viel besser als Netiquette. Basierend auf der Arbeit von Ryan and Bohlin (1999) sind fünf Primärtugenden für das Verhalten im Internet von Bedeutung.

• Respekt – Respect for oneself and others.
• Verantwortung – Responsibility for one’s actions.
• Mitgefühl – Empathy for the consequences to others of actions online.
• Ehrlichkeit – Honesty – I pay for what I take. I do not steal or deceive.
• Vertrauen oder Glaubwürdigkeit – Trust or Trustworthiness – What I say is true or underestood to be fiction.
